Revision of ETS surcharge with effect from April 1st, 2024

REVISION OF EU ETS SURCHARGE
EFFECTIVE FROM APRIL 1ST, 2024
 

Please be advised that Ocean Network Express (ONE) will be revising the tariff of the ETS surcharge starting from April 1st, 2024. The ETS surcharge tariff is segregated per Trade, and its amount and logic will be updated every quarter unless informed otherwise in advance. For more details, please refer to the customer advisory attached below.

The implementation of the ETS surcharge is based on the extension of the directive of EU ETS toward maritime/shipping sectors starting from January 1st, 2024. For more details on the global approach for GHG emission reduction or an overview of EU ETS, please refer to our announcement made on October 30th (here).
