New Surcharge “Container Maintenance Charge (CMC)”, EFFECTIVE 1st April 2024

Container Maintenance Charge (CMC)
 

Dear Valued Customer,

Please be advised that ONE will introduce a new Container Maintenance Charge on all import containers into Australia. This will be effective for units arriving from 1 April 2024.

On implementation, we will no longer charge customers for the recovery of container damage costs up to the value of AUD250. This will remove the administrative burden associated with lower value cost recovery.

Container damage cost over the value of AUD250 will continue to be subject to the current billing procedures.

We encourage our customers to take care when unpacking containers to avoid damage and ensure to remove all dunnage, packaging and labels before returning the unit to the nominated container depot.
